1. Regulatory status
VitaMini remains in formulation, validation and industrialisation. No product is placed on the market until food-safety, regulatory, shelf-life, packaging, traceability, manufacturing and labelling gates are complete.
2. EU framework
Depending on formula and market, key references include Regulations (EC) 178/2002, 852/2004, 1924/2006, 1925/2006, 1935/2004 and Regulation (EU) 1169/2011, plus applicable national and ingredient-specific rules.
3. Claims governance
Each claim must be approved with exact wording, legal classification, legal basis, conditions of use, evidence, authorised markets/languages and media. Claims must not be copied by analogy from other products.
4. Vitamins and minerals
Forms, levels and tolerances must be validated under Regulation (EC) 1925/2006 and related rules. Presence of a vitamin does not automatically authorise a claim.
5. Labelling
Food name, ingredients, allergens, QUID where required, net quantity, date marking, storage/use, responsible FBO, origin where required, nutrition declaration, lot and other mandatory information must be approved market by market.
6. HACCP, traceability and recall
The responsible FBO must maintain appropriate HACCP, supplier/co-packer qualification, specifications, batch controls, traceability and effective withdrawal/recall/complaint procedures.
7. Food-contact packaging
Cup, lid, inks, adhesives and relevant components must be suitable for intended food contact and supported by applicable documentation; migration, thermal suitability, seal integrity and shelf life must be validated.
8. Marketing to children
Communication must not mislead, attribute non-existent properties, exploit fear/inexperience or directly exhort children to buy or pressure adults. Creative assets require legal/regulatory review.
9. Markets
Italian approval does not automatically authorise other markets. Language, notifications, national limits, promotional rules and packaging/EPR obligations must be checked country by country.
10. Consumer reports
At launch, dedicated channels for information, complaints and safety reports must be provided and online product pages controlled against approved master specifications.
